Pembroke may be one of the southern-most colleges in Oxford, but that doesn't mean we're poorly located - quite the opposite!
In fact, we're the closest college to the largest Sainsbury's in central Oxford, meaning you won't have to drag your shopping too far, and we're also very close to a Tesco store which is open until 11pm every night, making it perfect for a late night food run if you missed Hall. We're right next door to G&Ds, which is an ice-cream cafe that is open from 8am until midnight every day! Most university faculties are easy to walk to in around twenty minutes - the furthest departments are the ones in Science, however if you don't fancy setting that much time aside to walk it is quick and very easy to cycle around Oxford, as there are many bike racks throughout the University and also within college.
Pembroke is also well situated in terms of clubs - notably Emporium and Cellar. You'll never have too far to walk back after a night out!
Other services Pembroke is close to include the Post Office, the Westfield Shopping Centre (currently under construction), the Covered Market, and most of the major high street banks.
